The Full Story
What makes a creative successful is simple: tenacity.
The journey to awakening—and creative clarity—can be difficult without direction. Perhaps you want to write a memoir, create off-beat baked goods, rise in the ranks of your team, or maybe you’re tired of putting off the life you know you deserve. Throughout Joan + Jupiter's intuitive offerings, you’ll discover how to navigate the moments of constriction before creation. The creative process (and life, when all things considered) doesn’t always work in a linear way, much like time and space. With the pith of Joan Didion and luck from Jupiter, these methods were developed with the intention of helping people achieve their aspirations while connecting to their soul purpose.
It takes a lot of courage to call yourself a creative—especially if it’s not part of your current LinkedIn profile. You may feel like an imposter calling yourself one. And there lies in the myth: your divine talents are your birthright. That is where tenacity (and some tantric teachings) can accelerate your success. As a professional creative, you will have experience blocks where you can't find the words or lack inspiration. It takes perseverance to create. Joan Didion once noted, “I don’t write for catharsis; I have to write to understand.” Joan + Jupiter takes the same approach. Through our proven Cobalt + Capulet Method, we provide tools derived from ancient tantric scriptures, psychometry, neuroscience, epigenetics, quantum physics, and other science-y subject matters to elevate your everyday. Join us on a journey to discovering the best version of you.

With Gratitude
To Ms. Joan Didion—journalist, novelist, memoirist, essayist, screenwriter, and “literary cool girl” who wrote some of the sharpest and most evocative analyses of politics, culture, and literature. Thank you for capturing a blend of irony and insight, contradictions and compromises—set against the asininity of the sixties and seventies. Even though you were one of the greatest prose writers of all time, you kept one hundred percent. You once wrote, “There is always a point in the writing of a piece when I sit in a room literally papered with false starts and cannot put one word after another and imagine that I have suffered a small stroke, leaving me apparently undamaged but actually aphasic.” Yes, girl, same.
Next, I’d like to thank the planet of luck, Jupiter—and, in extension—the Universe, Spirit, Gods, Angels, Ancestors, Guides, and Mama Gaia. Thank you so much for this human experience. I can only imagine what adventures are stored in my soul contract. As you may already know, the noble and benevolent planet Jupiter is the largest in our solar system. In Vedic Astrology (where planets are personified), he is responsible for knowledge, wisdom, wealth, fortune, power, and everything that is intellectually and spiritually expansive. He is known as Guru, Brihaspati, and Devagura, which translates to "teacher, lord of light, and teacher to the gods" in Sanskrit. I thank you for helping me break through creative and energetic blocks and elevating my experience as a writer—so that I can share these lessons with others.
Finally, I’d like to thank me...
“The willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own life is the source from which self-respect springs.”
~ Joan Didion
